- The V.I. Warshawski Mysteries, by Sara Paretsky (second read-through, my favorite author! and Jim has started listening to this series as well, so it’s fun to review with him)
- Cocaine Blues, Miss Fisher Murder Mysteries, Kerry Greenwood

- Death Comes to Pemberley, by P.D. James
- Still See You Everywhere, Lisa Gardner (a dark thriller)
- Charlotte Illes Is Not a Detective, by Katie Siegel (bought on vacation in Minneapolis)

Update 1/4/2026:
While murder is all fine and good (ha) my plan for 2026 is to read more books that are not murder mysteries, including more non-fiction. Because I expect this to show me down a little, my Goodreads challenge goal is 60 books.
